The Langhe is well-known for the quality of its gastronomy. The world-famous red wines, Barolo and Barbaresco, the rare white truffles, a large variety of mushroom dishes, renowned cheese (Toma of Murrazzano and Bossolasco !) attract gourmets from all over the world. All kinds of sweets with hazelnuts and chocolate are of the highest quality, for instance those of 'Cascina Azii' at Feisoglio close by, the honey made by regional beekeepers, the piedmontese beef from local cooperatives, and much more.

Families from Turin and other busy towns in the Po valley on the weekend go for one of the numerous "trattorie" and "osterie" of the Alta Langa to have lunch or dinner together ... rarely in less than 3 hours and hardly ever with less than 5 different "antipasti" before it comes to the "primi" and "secondi"!
